2010
|
| Who are the Miranda Magpies Football Club |
|
The Miranda Magpies are a foundation
Sutherland Shire soccer club that have been playing soccer for over 50
years. In season 2010 we had 65 teams and over 820 players of all ages
playing soccer at our home ground of Seymour Shaw park Miranda. You will
play against other local clubs under the Sutherland Soccer association. |
All of our home games are played at home |
| Unlike many
other clubs when you play a home game, generally every second week, you will play at Seymour Shaw park where
the rest of your club plays. This gives all teams a lot of support from
the players and parents of the whole club and our facilities are some of
the best in the shire. |
| What is Roo Ball/(SSF) Small Sided Football |
| Roo-ball/SSF is
non competitive soccer for our under 6 to under 10 year old players. It is played on
a small field with little goals that allow our younger players to develop
their skills and play soccer for fun and enjoyment. The Roo-ball game
controllers/referee will guide and encourage them. |
