After meeting with the representatives of the 4 Host Clubs (Cronulla RSL, Bonnet Bay, Georges River & Lilli Pilli) it has been decided that unfortunately the Under 11 Gala Day will NOT be held in 2016.
As you are aware, with the significant amount of rain that we have received during the week, the four (4) grounds that were going to be used for the Under 11 Gala Day are water logged (as you can see from the photo).
This has meant that the Hosts Clubs have not had any opportunity to prepare the fields for the Gala Day.
So unfortunately, the SSFA will not proceed with the Under 11 Gala Day (this includes both Saturday 6 August and 13 August).
Our thanks to all the kids who volunteered to be a referee and we wish you all the best.
