The Under 8A's have won the Sylvania Heights Gala Day, taking out the Presidents Cup.
In a very successful and well run Gala Day, both the Miranda 8A's and 8B's qualified for the semi finals, with the 8A's edging past Sylvania 8A1's on a corners countback following their 1-1 draw.
The 8A's met the Sylvania 8A2's in the Grand Final. The boys were very determined to put in a strong performance and anyone who's seen these boys play, knows that they are simply awesome. With strong family support on the sideline they scored a goal and we're good enough to hold on for a 1-0 victory.
The coach said after the game "The boys really deserved it, they've trained hard and played their hearts out all year, what a great bunch of kids".
