2017 marked a new era for the Miranda Magpies, with Tradies joining us as major sponsor and assisting with the rollout of a brand new playing strip. This removed the situation of having 3 different jerseys, being used at the same time, by some teams.
This also meant, that we were left with many old style jerseys, which were brand new in the bag. Miranda Committee member Tracey Lentell with the fantastic people at Help2Help, last week travelled to Cambodia and our jerseys were donated to the children.
They love their Football and they loved the brand new jerseys. You can see from the smiles on their faces, that this brightened their day for kids that don't have a lot to begin with.
"We're very proud to support these kids and we hope it strengthens their love of football as the world game" said Miranda President Brad Bates.
