The Miranda Magpies are featured in The Leader this week celebrating the Grand Final week where 84 Grand Finals will be played across the Sutherland Shire Football Association.
The Miranda Magpies will be represented proudly by 6 teams on Grand Final weekend.
Our Under 13E's are up first at 9am, looking to capitalise on their dominant season and Minor Premiership, they are un-backable favourites after scoring 129 goals this season and conceding just 11. Get out to Preston Park Engadine to see this time in Grand Final action.
Our 15C's will fight for a title at 11am, after winning the Minor Premiership on the final match day, snatching it off fierce rival Bosco. They won the Semi Final and are strong favourites to win but Bosco are back for a second chance, who will win this at Kareela 3?
On Sunday, we have our W18B's playing their 5th Grand Final in a row, hoping to break the curse and finally bring a title home. We need a MASSIVE Magpies crowd for this one, they missed the minor premiership on goal difference and play at 9:00am at Kareela for a chance at glory.
Our AAL14's are up next, looking to overcome the draw they had with 1st in the Semi Final to win it all. They are at 10:30am at Woronora Heights against Engadine.
Then we've got a massive double header with Minor Premiers 35C's and SWA1's both playing at 1pm. The 35C's take on Lilli Pilli at Kareela and just down the hills the SWA1's take on last years Premiers, St Patricks. Both will be cracking games, I can see a few along the fence line trying to watch both games at once. Miranda won their Semi Final 5-1 and are looking to take back the title.
