Eleni celebrated the news with the Committee and junior Miranda Magpies players, explaining how important this project is and even having a kick herself. We've got a spot for you at the Magpies Ms Petinos, just let us know if you'd prefer striker or winger!

Miranda Magpies Club President Gary O'Riordan said "We are delighted that the State Government are investing in this critical infrastructure that is desperately needed for a growing club like Miranda Magpies, in the heart of the Sutherland Shire. We are looking foward to having input with Sutherland Shire Council into the final design for the sports fields in the coming months.

Gary continued "And we're greatly appreciative of our local member Eleni Petinos, for her continued, long term support not only of Miranda Magpies FC, but junior sports and promoting healthy living.
